Modern Single Storey Timber Frame Extension in Winchester, Hampshire

Internal views of the extension show the use of 105mm Hybris Insulation  within the external wall panels with HControl Hybrid Vapour Control Layer battened to the internal face of the external panels, prior to plasterboard.

Two different views of the internal walls show prior to insulation and plasterboard, along with when the fibre wool insulation is installed (good acoustic properties) as well as the beginning of the plasterboard.

Further internal views of the timber frame extension show the precise and tidy works completed by Voytas Project Ltd.

Floors insulated, underfloor heating laid and then the floor is screed ready for the floor finishes.

The walls and ceiling have been plastered and the screed floor has now dried.

The walls have now been decorated and patio windows have been installed.  The floor is now ready for the laying of the laminate flooring.

As the internal works are completed the external works are also well underway with the warm roof installed (18mm ply, rigid insulation, 18mm ply and the waterproof membrane) .You can see this process below in the following sequence of photos.

To blend harmoniously with their existing property, the Clients decided to clad the new extension in the same vertical wood cladding that is featured on their existing home. Here are a selection of photos showing this wonderful new addition to our Client’s home in Winchester.
