In 2016, Vision Development built the Super Eco Friendly modern home in Whitchurch Hill, South Oxfordshire which was sold to a family looking to re-locate from the hustle and bustle of London into a more peaceful part of the country.
We are now pleased to inform our readers that we will be building another home in a nearby village called Woodcote, which will follow the same principles as our last development in Whitchurch Hill, being highly energy efficient, but having a more traditional look and feel about it, with contemporary features internally including modern kitchen and bathrooms.
Our new development will also follow Whitchurch Hill’s timber frame panel design with the addition of some new adaptions which will mean the structure will achieve a U Value of 0.18 for the walls and a U Value of 0.13 for the floors and roof.
We have now commenced the groundworks to the site including pile foundations and manufacture of the timber frame is well underway. We are hoping to have the timber frame on site in May with the complete build finished by September ready for the open market.
Since we aren’t able to show you exactly how the house will look until it is completely finished, we have had 3D designs completed to illustrate the finished home.
This illustration depicts the front of the house with oak porch, brick finish to the ground floor and timber cladding to the first floor, which is also the same for the garage, both with a tiled roof.
The rear of the house will have the lovely addition of a garden room which will have patio doors opening out onto the patio area.
The modern kitchen will be very neutral keeping the room bright and airy. The additional space of the utility room off the kitchen provides room for washing machine and extra wash basin.
The bathrooms will be supplied by Porcelanosa, who also were the suppliers for Whitchurch Hill and always deliver high quality fixtures and fittings for our new build homes.
